Once an NGO has received foreign NGO status, it must register with the Department of Planning and Investment and the local authorities where it will carry out its activities
NGOs in Vietnam must adhere to strict regulations and report regularly on their activities to the government
NGOs in Vietnam can face challenges such as bureaucracy, cultural differences, and a lack of understanding of the NGO sector by local authorities.
