The European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Eurocham) held a three-day Green Economy Forum and Exhibition (GEFE) in Ho Chi Minh City
The event featured 150 exhibitors presenting green solutions and innovations, as well as 30 conference sessions and panel discussions with 150 expert speakers from over 20 green sectors
Topics discussed included the circular economy, green tourism, renewable energy, smart cities, sustainable agriculture, and water treatment
The e-mobility seminar at the event highlighted Vietnam's potential as a market for electric vehicles, but also noted the barriers to entry for the auto sector in Vietnam, including high prices, regulatory issues, and a lack of charging infrastructure
Green financing was also a focus at the event, with several green funding providers in attendance
The hydrogen fuel market in Vietnam may hold opportunities for foreign investors.
